Phill Dupper Launches Re-Election Campaign for Loma Linda City Council
I am proud to once again announce my candidacy for the Loma Linda City Council and my Re-Election Campaign. The last sixteen years have flown by, but have been some of the most enjoyable and rewarding of my life.
Our City Council has worked hard to maintain a safe, quiet and welcoming community that is recognized worldwide for its friendly residents, medical professionals and Blue Zone status.
Like most cities in California, we have had to endure the constant assault on local control by Sacramento and Washington. However, we are still proving to be resilient with a vibrant community, lower than average crime and a service oriented city government.
As your elected representative, I will continue to answer to you, the residents, while working with our business owners and institutional partners. I will strive to always do what is right for the community and city, even if it's sometimes unpopular.
As I study and teach leadership principles, the following quote is one of my favorite go-to examples of how to live life. “If you just set out to be liked, you would be prepared to compromise on anything at any time, and you would achieve nothing.” - Margaret Thatcher
Over the next few months of campaign season, I look forward to sharing my story and vision of our future in Loma Linda.
